Studio agent team
The AI agents that run the back office of a one-person studio.
The studio’s own tool, not client work. Runs shown with roles, not names, and client details removed.
A review panel stops an ad pack with claims nobody had verified.

Growth lead
Ad pack for a client launch is ready: banners, captions and the weekly report. Sending it to the review panel.
-
Audit and research Pass
Rechecked every figure against its source. Pass, with three small fixes: label one date window and add a small-sample caveat.
-
Quality gate Fail
Fail. Two banners carry origin and ownership claims nothing in the brief backs up. The live ads carry them too.
-
Creative lead
Swapping the line for one we can stand behind, marking the old copy not for use, and re-rendering for round two.
-
Quality gate Pass
Round two passes. The claims already in the live ads go to the owner as a decision.

Pack is in your review queue with one open decision.
A struck-through “was” price is checked before the sale email goes out.

Tomorrow’s sale email strikes through a “was” price. The same price is on the store, the product page and two more emails.
-
Chief of staff
A was-price has to be genuine under Australian Consumer Law. If it wasn’t the regular price for a fair stretch, I’ll take the strike-through off everywhere.

Keeping it. Updating the email draft and asking the creative and growth leads to match.

The daily routine, as it is set up.

Growth lead 07:00
Checking ad spend against budget, conversions, and yesterday’s orders against the 7-day average.

Growth lead Pass
All inside limits. No alert.
-
Growth lead
An alert needs spend over twice the budget, a channel at zero, conversions at zero, or orders under half the average. I read the store’s change log for a cause first.

Chief of staff 08:30 Done
Morning brief: what needs your yes today, what moved overnight, the top three, and follow-ups due.
Situation
A one-person studio still has an inbox to triage, client ads and stores to check, prospects to research, tender dates to track and a review before anything goes out. I wanted that done every day without hiring, and without anything leaving the studio unchecked.
What I did
I built a team of AI agents, each with one job and the same operating manual. A chief of staff takes my requests, routes them and writes the daily briefs. A growth lead checks client ads, stores and email. Others handle new business research, creative, web builds, audits and tender watch, and admin. A quality gate reviews every outward piece for privacy, honesty and style. They share a task board and a log and hand work to each other directly. Anything that sends, spends, publishes or changes a live system stops at an approval card for me.
Scope
- 01 Agent roles and instructions
- 02 Shared operating manual
- 03 Task board and log
- 04 Review panel
- 05 Approval gates
- 06 Scheduled routines
Outcome
In daily use since October 2026. It runs the studio’s own work; client names, figures and private work stay off this page.
